Revered Guest at the Alexei Saveliev Icon Centre
in Traben-Trarbach-Kautenbach

As mayor of the delightful Moselle town of Traben-Trarbach, I am exceptionally pleased that with the establishment of the Icon Centre we have been able to accommodate “Alexei Saveliev in our town through a rather special arrangement.
It was the sincere wish of the town of Traben-Trarbach that the life's work of one of the most important iconographers of our time be placed in the care of a formal institution, to ensure its safekeeping for the future. 
It has now become possible for the Icon Centre to be represented on the internet and thus made accessible to a worldwide audience.
You are herewith cordially invited to allow the unique and incomparable works of “Alexei Saveliev” to work their magic upon you by visiting the icon centre in the idyllic and conveniently-located district of Kautenbach and in doing so, to appreciate yourself the uniqueness of the icons and what they mean to the Christian Church.
